Kō Kyrin tōku ingoa, he uri tēnei no Tainui, no Tāmaki Makaurau ahau.

With over a decade of expertise in working with people, Kyrin has immersed herself in collaborating with whaiora to enhance their lives. Kyrin is clinically trained, and a full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors. Kyrin draws upon mātauranga Māori, pūrākau, indigenous theories and lived experience to support whaiora to flourish.

Kyrin works with individuals, couples, whānau and community, she has a passion for seeing people thrive and works within a broad spectrum of topics that whaiora bring into the room. Some of her specific areas of focus and expertise are working with grief and loss, gender diversity, anxiety, depression, managing bipolar affective disorder II, sexuality, intimacy, relationships, and palliative care.

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau - Auckland, New Zealand, Kyrin is a full member of NZAC and is available on Friday’s for counselling and supervision, and Sundays for couples counselling. Kyrin is an ACC provider for sensitive claims and sessions can be in-person or online via Zoom.
